Lotus Investors Ltd

Privacy Policy

Effective date: to be set on public launch.

Who we are

Lotus Investors Ltd (company number 16929146) is responsible for personal information received through this website. Its registered office is at 1711 High Street, Solihull, B93 0LN, United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests about your personal information, contact lotusinvestors369@gmail.com.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we ask for your name, email address, telephone number, enquiry type and message. If you are enquiring about selling a property, you may also provide its town or postcode. Please avoid including sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

Why we use your information

We use your details to receive, review and respond to your enquiry, communicate with you about property-related discussions and, where appropriate, take steps you request before entering into an arrangement. We may also retain limited correspondence to administer our business and deal with disputes. We do not use an initial enquiry as automatic consent to send marketing emails.

Legal bases

Depending on the circumstances, processing will generally be necessary for our legitimate interests in handling business enquiries or for steps requested before entering into a contract. If a legal obligation applies, we may also process information to comply with it. The precise basis for any additional processing must be reviewed when those activities are introduced.

Who can access your information

Relevant members of our team may access your enquiry where needed. We use Hostinger to host the website, Formspree to receive and store website form submissions, and Google Gmail to receive and manage enquiry notifications and correspondence. These providers process personal information on our behalf or in connection with the services they provide. We do not sell enquiry details.

International transfers

Some service providers may process personal information outside the United Kingdom. Formspree states that its service is hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States and that it relies on Standard Contractual Clauses as a data processor. Hostinger and Google may also process information in jurisdictions outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the safeguards made available by the relevant provider, such as adequacy regulations, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or approved standard contractual clauses, as applicable.

How long we keep it

For general enquiries that do not lead to a transaction or ongoing business relationship, we normally keep enquiry correspondence for 12 months after the last meaningful contact, then delete it unless a legal obligation, dispute or other justified reason requires longer retention. Where an enquiry progresses into a property transaction or investment relationship, relevant records may be retained for a different period in accordance with applicable requirements. Formspree and Gmail may also have separate storage and deletion settings, which we administer as appropriate.

Your rights

Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your information, object to certain processing, and exercise other UK data-protection rights. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. To make a privacy-related request, email lotusinvestors369@gmail.com.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information during transmission and handling. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.

Cookies and similar technologies

At launch, the website is intended to operate without non-essential analytics or advertising cookies. Essential technical storage may be used where required for security or core website operation. If we later introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking, we will update this policy and introduce any consent controls required by law before activating them.

Updates

We may update this policy to reflect changes in how the website operates, the services we use or applicable legal requirements. The effective date shown above will be updated when a revised policy is published.
